2 of 3 ex-NL pitchers sucking aint too bad --still better results than last year - not saying too much -not much better at all?

the reason that you hear the same old criticisms about the twins is because the twins have the same old problems--gardenhire and anderson....

This is a malignant offense. M & M are both so entirely overpaid and over-rated it is not even funny but an embarrassment. I mean seriously, it matters not whether either one of them is in the lineup. The offense is incapable of producing runs.

Verlander is unbeatable, until the World Series.

Another loss. Ya know, after watching tonight's game I'm baffled as to how this team is even close to .500. Worley has been terrible, as has every other starter besides Correia. Plouffe is a minor leaguer, Parmalee not far behind. Hicks can't even get on the field anymore. Morneau is a has-been, Mauer is a church mouse, and Florimon is a never-will-be. The 'meat' of the Twins order is full of guys who hit solo home runs in meaningless at bats. How these guys have won more than 6 games is beyond me. This team is in a free-fall and the only question left to answer is how fast they'll catch Houston this season for last place in the AL. Joke city!

Also: Did Mauer's cat die or something? His body language is so depressing it's making ME want to visit a shrink.

Yes indeed 4thstreet. This offense couldn't hit water if it fell out of a boat. Never mind who was pitching last night. Just take a moment to study the names on the depth chart. You'll see a roster larded up with players who have little or no major league experience and others of little or no acclaim. And then you have Mauer and Morneau. First of all, neither player is a 'heart of the order' guy anymore. Mauer is a singles hitter who isn't even hitting now and Morneau is best suited to hit 7th. This is a bottom tier offense in the American League. Certainly one of the 2 or 3 worst.

Gardenhire-Worley..."I don't have the answer. Right now, I know the reason is because he hasn't commanded the game early." Well, Gardenhire...neither have you.

Well when you shop for free agents at ""The Dollar Store"" because the Pohlads are to cheap to spend any money you get the Vanimal and a 18.0 ERA.

One of the geniuses on Twins Live after the game last night had the audacity to compare Mauer and Morneau to Cabrera and Hamilton, and then called the Hamilton and Pujols combo "pretty good." M&M were never an impressive one two punch. At this point I think Morneau would swing at a throw over to third base
