More troops arrive to deal with strike

About 40 additional U.S. Navy medical forces have arrived at the Guantanamo prison camps to assist in dealing with the growing hunger strike by 100 captives, more than a fifth being force-fed, a spokesman said Monday.

Do people truly understand what's going on in Guantanamo? Yep, these inmates may be guilty, but how would we know; our own government won't bring them up on charges. What's happening on the eastern end of Cuba is a perversion of American justice, and contributes to the impression that we're just as oppressive as any despotic regime.
