Grover Norquist and his Teapublicans have the right to gather and express their views. However the American people know that we cant cut our way to prosperity. We are trying to pay for 10 years of wars, tax cuts for the wealthiest while trying to cut the deficit, meanwhile taxes are at their lowest level in 35 years. Republicans got a taste of what a "smaller government" looks like and they freaked out when their flights started getting delayed by the furloughed air traffic controllers due to the sequester. A reminder to the Teapublicans, you can make government small enough to drown in the bathtub but you may not like living here anymore once you are successful in doing so.

These people had to wait until Saturday for their little demonstration because they were BUSY WORKING during the week so the Democratic Party could STEAL half their earnings and give most of it to welfare recipients to BUY VOTES.

Get a clue...when you put Democrats in office, you can expect taxes and spending to go up. They don't know how to manage or control themselves.

We are trying to pay for 10 years of wars, tax cuts for the wealthiest while trying to cut the deficit, meanwhile taxes are at their lowest level in 35 years. ------------------There it is. the usual lies. Tax cuts resulted in an INCREASE in tax revenue. Anyone that cares to look for the truth can look at any gov't website to see that revenues actually increased after the tax cuts. As for the Tax cuts for the wealthiest: 80% of all the tax cuts went to the people that pay only 60% of the taxes. Can we stop lying about tax cuts only going to the rich. The vast majority of the tax cuts went to everyone else~!!

The sequester cuts were 2.3% of the budget, yet Obama ordered that Air Traffic Controllers get a 10% cut. That's what you get when you elect a childish, vindictive president. He didn't get exactly what he demanded so he punished everyone the worst he could!@

Smith needs to get her eyes and "reporters ethics" checked. Just got back from the rally and there was at lest 2500-3000 in attendance.

The sequester cuts (& raising revenue) were agreed upon by both parties because the thought was they were so bad no one would allow them to actually go into affect. Both parties are equally to blame for this mess. I am also amused by how the Tea Party candidates conduct themselves after getting elected. Most take all the benefits their position affords them after campaigning against all that wasteful government spending. The most recent is after the fertilizer plant exploded. The same Texas Tea Partiers that rallied against hurricane Sandy relief are asking for federal help. All politicians are self serving and until we get them to pass term limits nothing will change. Fundraising & job security is more important than the constituents.

I hope they tax the public to death! Both parties are responsible for were we are today. Minnesota is no different that California. Somebody has to pay for all the fun we are having in government. So pop the champagne and CELEBRATE!

862Wapo: "Get a clue...when you put Democrats in office, you can expect taxes and spending to go up. They don't know how to manage or control themselves." You are suggesting the recent spate of Republicans, who couldn't even pay their rent, were responsible? LOL...you better do some research...
