At least the AP is admitting that the U.S. led efforts in Afghanistan has "failed". Remember how easy this was going to be during the 2008 campaign when a community organizer had all the answers? Why I'll just do an apology tour and quote the Koran a couple times and remove our troops. After all, it's Bush's fault, he told the electorate. After entering the real world (his first managerial job), he had to re-employ Bush's defense secretary, re-employ Bush's military generals (after his appointees proved in-effective), implement HIS OWN SURGE in Afghanistan (he criticized Bush's surge strategy in Iraq), and followed Bush's plan to turn over security and remove our troops from Iraq. Since then, we've watched the Arab Spring bring chaos to an even greater area of the Middle East and Obama's War in Afghanistan prove to be less effective than Bush's in Iraq. Ah, that we find politicians with experience and knowledge PRIOR to electing them. This on-the-job training puts a huge burden on our military and the safety of the USA, as the Middle East has NEVER been as volatile as it is today under the policies of our community organizer. The entire region now looks a little like the conditions found on the south side of Chicago. Hmmm...maybe Obama's experience does count for something after all.
