yea, MN GOP tie your wagon to Grover Norquist. That will be helpful in 2014.
Always a fun party when Grover comes to town.
Is it any surprise to anyone out there that the second the Democrats gain complete power, they IMMEDIATELY move to raise taxes and increase spending? The term tax and spend Democrats is well deserved and right on the money. Apparently, the Democrats believe our money is theirs to spend however they see fit because, of course, big government knows best. They have no trouble helping themselves to our paychecks including a pay raise for themselves. Pathetic. Hopefully these clowns can be hustled out of office in 2014 before it is too late.
For the life of me, I still don't remember ever voting for Grover Norquist.
Let's end all taxes! We don't need us none of them fancy highways, bridges, schools, firefighters, policemen, military, safe food, clean air, clean water, railroads, airports, retirement security, care for the elderly and disabled, medical research, disaster relief, hospitals and we especially don't need no help for them lazy sick children who don't have medical insurance. Theses kids need to pull themselves up by their bootstraps and start contributing to society!
Grover is the reason this country is split so badly, no one can get anything done now.
dlhoff16: Of course we need those things. But there is a lot of waste in government that needs to be eliminated too. Every last taxpayer dollar needs to be accounted for. Government was not meant to satisfy every single wish list. Maybe we all should just put all of our paychecks into a big pool. Let the politicians spend what they want to solve everyone's problems for them and then divide what is left equally amoung us? Don't work, no problem. You will get your fair share. There are legit examples of this in the world today and in the history books. Called socialism or communism. Communism hasn't worked out so great. Take a good look at the economies of the European socialistic societies. They are on the verge of economic collapse due to overspending and promising everything to everyone. In spite of the many examples of how socialism doesn't work well, we are headed rapidly in that direction. Very scary indeed.
Lots of tax and spend Democrats on the comment section today. The Independents and Republicans must be too busy at work to log on.
Steven: actually people like dlhoff16 is the reason nothing gets done. Exaggerating opposing positions-both sides do it. That is what causes the big divide.
Grover Norquist? What is this, Nostalgia Day? Was Jack Kemp unavailable? Who's the band, Foghat? While we're going back a decade or two, that is.
