And we care about this just how much? A complete waste of editorial space.

I almost died about 7 years ago and the Dr. told my wife that there was no hope and I would die the next day. You know what? I saw no light and I might as well been dead for all I knew. But death was just toying with me and I woke up the next day and wanted a sandwich! So there might not be anything else out there when we leave or there might be one. But death comes to all of us and cremation is the best thing to do. No bugs will get me and snakes crawling through my skull. Enjoy life right now, sir, and do it will you can.

I thought it was useful, provided a few perspectives on death. However, what I really liked is that this article about death was hilarious.

Eddie, you get an A+ for attitude and a healthy perspective on both life and death.

The idea of pretaping my own eulogy to settle some scores really appealed to my Irish heart- especially the idea of getting the last word.

As an estate planning attorney who deals with these issues with my clients regularly, this is a GREAT perspective. I admire the reality, but especially the wonderful sense of humor Eddie shares regarding his inevitable mortality. PS: Along with the Health Care Directives, Eddie and his wife should have wills and maybe a trust as well!
