It will take more than a library to wipe the stains of torture, a wasted war, and the indefinite suspension of constitutionally protected liberties and basic freedoms.
How did this guy get to be president. He has hair and was funded by the rich and powerful and agreed to do their bidding, just like all presidents but Kennedy, so the Kennedys died.
All the presidents praised Bush except one. Obama used the mic to Push Immigration Reform... Always making it about himself and pushing his agenda. Classless.

All the presidents praised Bush except one. Obama used the mic to Push Immigration Reform... Always making it about himself and pushing his agenda. Classless.___________ From the article: "Obama praised Bush for pushing to reform the country's immigration system, although Congress never agreed to go along during Bush's time in office. Obama said he hopes they will this year. "And if we do that it will be in large part thanks for the hard work of President George W. Bush," Obama said." Seems like the President is praising the work Bush did, not his own. What is classless is the constant ad hominem attacks on Obama.
Love him or dislike him, the event was a celebration opening the GW Bush Presidential Library. It's inspiring to know that there were so many past Presidents there to acknowlegde one of their colleagues. It's nice to know that the Current Occupant was there to acknowledge the Former Occupant's legacy. They are, indeed, a group of men who have done a very difficult job to the best of their abilities. They deserve respect. For just this moment, take off your partisan glasses and offer congratulations. I mean it.
I agree with omakristy. Congrads to W. on his new Liberry.
I agree with atoonce as well. I didn't vote for "W", but congrats to him on his library as well, it's what we do in a civilized country. Current and former Presidents coming together to for a day, it's pretty cool to see. Would never happen in a lot places.
Please do not tell the families of 4000 American men and women who died in the unneccessary war in Iraq to respect G.W. Bush. Their blood is on his hands. War is not a partisan issue, it affects us all in a very negative way. He went AWOL from the National Guard and then had the nerve to sends thousands of young men and women to their deaths. There will never be love for that former president from the families of fallen veterans!
I agree with omakristy, as sometimes it's just good to move on and thusly, be able to come together. But I also agree with Barbara Bush's statement,"We've had enough Bushes," in all matters going forward.
