Does Obama and the US Congress have a budget plan yet...or are we going to have another 4-years of no budget?

What a joke. They do across the board cuts including FAA $600 million yet in the last four years food stamps doubled to almost $80 billion. How about taking some of that extra $40 billion? A real leader takes authority, re-evaluates the situation, and adjusts. A community organizer blames others. By the way, its a reduction in budget which is still more than last year yet they can't manage it.

This is an example of a administration that does not give a darn about the people of the USA and instead want to have everything their way at all costs. How about we quit throwing parties at the Whitehouse and instead use those savings to fund the FAA. Or better yet let an adult make the proper and sensible changes to the FAA without effecting travel. This is a joke

Control tower worker: To protect my co-workers, I am going to work more slowly to create even more delays so that the gov't will feel pressured into stopping these furloughs.

Hey, all these crazies who don't want to pay taxes to fund things, guess what? There's a price to pay (literally, and figuratively.) Across the board cuts are not smart, BUT they do make the point that everyone relies on government in some form. I laugh at how "everyone else's program" is wasteful, but "not the one I rely on, no, that one is necessary." I applaud the administration for doing this in ways that get this point across.

The government could pick and choose what they wanted to cut, this is Obamas way of making it painfull, as was posted earlier how about cutting food stamps or welfare and keeping vital business functions running.

Obama has no problem though giving Syrian opposition 100 million dollars, Egypt 150 million dollars, and Jordan 200 million dollars.

Actual control tower worker: The safety of the flying public is the number one priority. When a control sector is designed to safely have 20 airplanes in it and the adjacent sector is closed due to not enough staffing, the planes will have to be rerouted through my sector at a slower rate or be delayed on the ground. Controllers are wired to safely and efficiently move airplanes, we will not jeopardize the safety of anyone just to be macho and handle twice the amount of airplanes then normal. So believe what you want, until you spend a day in my shoes you cannot make false assumptions about the profession we love.

Do the math people. This ONE program cut is over half a billion. There are THOUSANDS of Federal programs across the country! It does NOT add up. NOT EVEN CLOSE. Last week, it was announced that 4 BILLION in state funding was being cut. This president is childishly making this as painful as possible, just because he did not get his way! And you voted for him!

Well maybe we can all start using SKYPE and GoToMeeting rather than flying around the world like high paid hookers. We can start with members of the US Congress.
