What's that I hear? Oh it must be the sound of the Minnesota Wild choking. Note to Russo: Now you know why I made my profoundly accurate tweet to you ... nearly a month ago!

Suddenly, every goalie is Ken Dryden. If I hear "the Wild's effort was there" one more time, I am going to throw up. This is professional hockey. People don't pay $125 a ticket to see a good effort against a Calgary team that is basically a bunch of guys fighting for a job next year.

Not surprised. The Wild are not a playoff team. I've said it time and time again. This team will NOT make the playoffs again this year. They lack an identity, the lack quality coaching and the lack and competent captain. Really tired of this state of mediocrity.

If YUO comes back and right now I wouldn't bring him back ,he better have a very short leash.Backstrom gives up too many rebounds and at 6 million a year is a bigger waste of money right now then Butch.Don't tell me butch is playing better ,I did not see him tonight and at 4 mill a year , well he'll be gone also.Want to clear 15 mill in a hurry bye ,bye , Backstrom, Heatley and Bouchard AND YUO.

I'm sure Yoe will come out and say he was proud of the way his team played and there's no need to panic.......All I can say is as much as I want the Wild to win, I can see them loosing at leat two more games and not making the playoffs. Maybe then Fletcher will finally say YOE HAS TO GO. Out coached yet another time. And what does he see in Stoner, one mistake after another.....send them both packing!!!

This loss is first and foremost on Coach Yeo for starting a goalie who in the past several games has give up 1 goal for every 5-6 shots! If he starts Backstrom in the next game, we will again lose and not make the playoffs! The Flames goalie gave up one goal in 35 shots while our sieve gave up 2 goals on the first 10 shots. Backstrom is washed up and is not worth resigning next year. This game also shows the need for some size on offense and defence. I still love the Wild, but this team under this coach is going nowhere!!

Hey Cal...why not just pass the puck to the opponent versus making them take it away from you!!!!

Yeo couldnt lead a pack of starving wolves to raw meat ... I told you at the beginning of the season Wild would NOT make the playoffs... Well here you go... If your game plan is to dump & chase... You have to CHASE get to it first THEN...control the puck and get it OUT FRONT..Not just dump and change lines or watch them break it out..Grrrrr. YOU DONT SCORE FROM THE CORNER.... Yeo must go.. The sooner the better.... PATHETIC .....

Wow, sure glad clueless Fletcher traded away a good portion of our future for an average Pominville. No wonder the Sabres were willing to part with him. And as for Yeo, he said the Wild were in a GREAT position. Yeo may not even be the coach of next years team. And as for Fletcher, many more Leddy like trades and his job is on thin ice.
