Does she think everyone is stupid? I mean, what kind of evidence does McCoy think she needs? A photograph of him mailing off the letters? Does she think he decided to send off SOME ricin but keep a stash for himself, for personal use? Hes not gonna just hold onto it. In her mind, there is no probable cause unless theres a video of him sending the letters and a giant stash of poison he decided to keep! You know, hold on to this ricin stuff for sentimental reasons. Either way, thats the staffs of 2 US congressmen that say he's nuts, the family says hes nuts, everyone that knows him says hes nuts. Plus a criminal history of convictions of stalking, harassment and assault (one of them a high powered attorney), and two active restraining orders (also a high powered attorney) lead to the simple conclusion the guy isnt just nuts, hes dangerous. If they see probable cause-he needs help. If they DONT see probable cause, he still needs help!
