The Vikings immediate and first draft needs are WR and C and I think they'll skip on Te'o letting someone like the Ravens take him and addressing MLB in the next round,as there is so much depth and better players than Te'o,in my opinion. In fact this is what I've been hoping for all year and as NFLN reported today the Vikings intend to move up in the first round for a C and/or WR,unless it's a Spielman ploy.

The Vikings should draft a MLB, WR (not Allen), and a CB with their first 3 picks. All 3 should be fast. Allen and Teo are slow. You don't draft slow guys early in the draft.

What is this article 2 months old? COM'ON Star Trib! It's already been reported Spielman is trying to trade up to 11th overall, with San Diego trying to land a WR (either Austin or Patterson) but I would have to believe, the Vikings are trading up for Tavon Austin. I don't think anyone would trade up just for Patterson. Who knows what they are giving up, to move up to 11th?

siouxchamp - have you never heard the term 'smokescreen'? You know what else Spielman just said? That he had no intention of trading Percy Harvin, when we now know he had already been shopping him for a month before the trade.

VV3P stands for Vikings Victory with the 3 P's, Patterson, Peterson and Ponder. Need to draft Patterson in 1st, pick up DT with 25th, and get Ryan Swope in 2nd. Shores up offense for the next 5 years. Concentrate on DB and LB in the rest of the rounds, and best avalable.

Doesn't matter as long as Ponder is the QB. As far as projections on the draft I have been more accurate the last two years than the talking heads on ESPN (First two rounds all teams).

Am I the only one here that thinks that Audie Cole MIGHT just have enough talent to play in the NFL? I mean, come on! he had 2 pic sixes in a game that he played in... I think we should keep the MLB battle wide open, and try to adress other needs like WR, and possibly QB depending on the comfort level with Ponder and Cassel. If we are going to take a QB, I think it would be Landry Jones if he is still there at 23rd or 25th picks.
