Congratulations to Kent Hrbek on his election to the Hall of Fame!

I'm surprised Hrbek was actually able to hit a triple after turning 30, much less two of them!

Noticed that the batters that hit more for average (Oliva, Carew, Puckett) tended to have little drop off in their production as far as their hitting (for average ); whereas the batters that hit more for power (i.e. homeruns - Killebrew and Hrbek) tended to have a more drastic drop off in their production - both their average and the power numbers. While this is obviously a VERY, VERY SMALL sampling, I wonder if this holds true in general for other batters that would be classified as power/HR hitters vs. batters that hit for average. Just something that flashed across my mind.
