Gun control may or may not be a problem, and everybody seems to have an opinion. However, when 90% of the American public is in favor of some sort of legislation on an issue, and the most basic legislation does not pass, we have a bigger problem on our hands.

90% is a fallacy. spoken so often that people now believe it. Gallup just did a poll and found only 4% od American's consider gun control an issue. The president said 90% of Americans what background checks to prevent criminals and the mentally ill from getting a firearm. I am surprised this number is not 100%? However, the majority of American's do not want more restrictions on their lives.

All I can say is, WOW is Sack a wit! he won a Pulitzer recently? That is about as valuable as a peace prize given to a president elect!

Yet another example of the "diverse" point of view of Mr. Sack. I agree with the post above. Apparently a Pulitzer is about as reputable and the Nobel Peace Prize is now.

Sack regurgitates the knee-jerk leftist delusion that it was "gun lobby" money that swayed the vote. It was not money. Not by a long shot. Instead, it was the calls and emails and letters from millions of legitimate gun owners who are MORE than fed-up with being demonized for the crimes of gang-bangers and the acts of crazies. And next election, it will not even be "gun lobby" money that propels highly-disgruntled gun owners to the polls, expressly to hand anti Bill of Rights politicians a whole bunch of pink slips. I can't wait for Sack's 'award-winning' cartoon when 2nd Amendment phobes get told to take a hike!

Sack has to face reality...the polls are wrong. If this issue is as cut and dried as 44 says it is, the legislation would have passed. One has to ask...which party has the exec and the senate?! and they still couldn't get it done?

Another exactly on-target Sack cartoon. Congratulations on the Pulitzer. It is well-deserved.

The NRA used to support universal background checks. Now they don't. Why? Also, if the NRA-ers say that laws won't prevent gun violence, then why are they so violently against this law? If laws don't matter, then what have they to worry about?

I love the cartoons of Mr. Sack! Much said in the form of great art without any words. Keep it coming.
