It looks like dog trapping season will still be open next fall too. Another dog was killed on April 10th bringing the total number of dogs killed after the MTA's 'dog safe' trapping regulation bill went into effect Oct 20, 2012 to AT LEAST 14.

If your dog is killed this fall remember that David Dill is responsible because he turned his back on us hunters. McNamara and Ingebritsen are responsible for killing over a dozen dogs by blocking the bill in their committees that would have protected the dogs.

I am a lifelong resident and have seen one wolf in the wild for about 30 seconds up at the cabin. The locals up nort' live in fear there's a wolf behind every tree killing deer for sport. The DNR needs to respond to all MN residents including those who vacation and spend money at resorts, gas stations, restaurants etc. DNR ever here of ecotourism?

The last few deer seasons we have seen wolves multiple times as they now come right out in the open and seem to have lost their fear of man al together. I don't kill what I won't eat but had many of them in my scope the last 5 years. Had I been a wolf hunter there would have been at least 7 dead wolves. Others in our party and some other near by parties said the same thing. Some of them in our area have names attached to them as they are seen so often. Up "Nort" if you want to really see wolves get out in the woods up here just before dark and take a walk without a gun.
