Not sure it makes sense to use a draft pick for the #3 QB this year. I would be more inclined to get a guy like Adam Weber who has a couple seasons of NFL grooming, along with a stint with Peyton Manning. Would be reliable enough in an emergency situation to come in and run the offense (hand off to Peterson, throw to Rudolph & Jennings). Lots of better draft options this year at other positions.

I really don't see the Vikings picking a QB at any point in the draft. They're not going to carry four QB's on the roster, and McBLT is good enough as the #3. Go for defense!!

As much as I love Manuel, and believe neither Ponder nor Cassel will be QBs that can win games (versus QBs that don't lose a game when the rest of the team wins the game), I agree with bredpath that MBT is a good #3 for grooming only because we need to use our early picks across the defense and WR... it's not like Manuel will slip to use in the 3rd round...

there isn't a legit potential starter in the draft. Don't waste a draft pick. The big but of the draft is gonna be the ND linebacker. Do not draft him. Alabama beat the crap out of him and made him a non factor.
