I have played golf for over 30 years. Blackberry Ridge in Sartell, Minnesota is a champions test for the best of players I have seen anywhere! The MGA slope on the Blackberry is what caught my attention from the get go. From the championship tees it plays to a 147. If you think you are a player this track will test your mettle. The conditions, the service and the hospitality are all very good. This golf course should host a Major State Championship. It is an outstanding site for either a PGA, MGA, State Pub-links, or MWGA event. The owners have received glowing accolades for their hard work, their enthusiasm, and excellence in providing a top shelf product at a reasonable price. Senior golfers from the Twin Cities will find a diamond in the rough at Blackberry between 7:00 - 11:00 A.M. Monday through Friday. Check the Blackberry Ridge Website for golf rates that wo'nt gouge your wallets. The course is very playable from the senior tees and is especially beautiful in the mornings. Watch for deer, turkeys and Red-headed woodpeckers in the trees. Also beware the 2nd shot on the par 5 fifth hole. You Hot Shots with game will do well to play one ball throughout the round and shoot 75 from the tips. Do'nt miss this place this summer. It is truly "GOLF IN THE KINGDOM"!! trbogen
