We need the whole group back again next year healthy, (well except Roy - what a waste that was) and then we can make a run.

I've wondered if the Roy signing was partially a ploy to try and force Paul Allen and the Blazers to let us have Batum. If you think about it...Roy's salary was off the books for the Blazers when he retired the first time...and he was due around $17 million...whatever we signed him for the difference would be applied the Blazers salary cap. That's $12 extra million the Blazers had to pay...plus the new Batum salary. I wonder if had the Blazers let us have Batum if we ever would have signed Roy...

Chase Budinger was hurt most of the year and was paid an absolute fortune.

By NBA standards Bud was not paid a fortune. He was paid less than a million this year. By Walmart Greeter standards Bud is making a fortune.

Kevin Love was hurt most of the year and was making a fortune. Budinger was making peanuts in comparison. And Budinger didnt cause his own injury.

I like Budinger's potential but I am wondering how someone who missed four months can be in line for a big raise?

I would think Bundinger marketability would be suspect, since he didn't play a full season and no one knows when he does get back to full strength how he will be, I believe he would be better suited to remain and prove his ability before taking a chance on being picked up by some other team, he's pretty much assured a position here, but that's my opinion.

Adleman, Kirilenko, and Budinger are all leaving.

Buddinger has little value to the team at the 3 spot when he is not making a shot. Krilenko will get big offers from teams that can go to the championship and in a warmer climate. A ring may or may not be important to Krilenko, we will find out.

Hate to say it, but, looks like Coach is not coming back. That would be a huge bummer for this team that needs his fatherly guidance.
