So the publisher is paying for the tour...while the Mn taxpayers are paying her once again to be away from her main job, which is representing the voters in the 6th district. Jim Graves, take notes. I saw a preview of the book, the pages were all blank...

Seems like more and more, our elected representatives use their time in office as a means to provide a lucrative income away from their elected position. Not just book sales, but speaking appearance fees, options on IPO stocks, insider trading, and the ultimate post-congress job: lobbyist. The reason it doesn't stop is because those who are needed to stop it are the very same that enjoy the benefit in the first place.

This is ridiculous. This is why voters in her district need to hold her more accountable for her actions. Bachmann has always blurred the lines of ethics and professionalism. More importantly, she has yet to be truthful with how she truly spends her time and what she's accomplished.

Writing a book, promoting a book, running for POTUS, Fox News, Glen Beck, Hannity. Tell us 6th District, when does she have time for you?

Michele Bachmann is a true patriot. Her love for America and others is something we should all strive to be like. She is brilliant and is leading this country in a great direction. Since today is opposite day I am going to enjoy this nice warm, sunny weather and go for a swim.

Our current State Senators just voted themselves a 35% pay raise - and the Star Tribune and some commenting here seem to feel what what Bachmann did in 2011 is more important. An old Bachmann story that is still being investigated gets a primary focus, while our Senators actions make it into a blog section only. You want to talk corruption - look at Senator Ken Eken who switched his vote at the last minute in order to preserve a 35% pay raise. He may say it was to save the rest of the bill, but that's simply unbelievable. Since his party is writing the bills, they could have come back with everything except the pay raise and voted again. It is Senators like Eken that need to be reported about.

This is such a joke. Another attempt to label Bachmann as something she isn't. No stories about all the false votes for Frankin when he gets elected, but this trash full of rumors and dead ends gets printed over and over. Bachmann wfreely discusses these accusations time and again, yet you only get someones distorted slander. Hogwash.

Were you opposed to him doing those exact same things? I doubt it!

We now have irrefutable proof that there are a minimum of 3000 idiots living in the 6th district. If we could convince them to move to Iowa, we'd be 3000 to the good...

Michelle's primary fault is her lack of Accountability to her constituents. She has failed miserably in her appointment as a representative of the 6th District and more importantly of the State of Minnesota. I would not be surprised if she would decide not to run again in 2014 in order to save her big ego. She could blame the media and whatever would come into her head as reasons rather than admit to her own self-serving ineptness.
