Why did I have to do a Google search to find out that Senator Wicker is a Republican? The author identified Dick Durbin, Tom Daschle and Patrick Leahy as Democrats but seemed to forget to mention Wicker's party affiliation. Maybe because it doesn't fit the narrative the MSM that Republican's and conservatives are the violent crazies. More subtle bigotry.
djb813: I quote the Trib article above. "Terrance W. Gainer, the Senate sergeant-at-arms, said in an emailed message to Senate offices that the envelope to Wicker, a Republican, had no obviously suspicious outside markings and lacked a return address. It bore a postmark from Memphis, Tenn."
DJB, pointed out correctly that the republican party was NOT attached to the congressman's name...unlike EVERY mention of a democrat in this story.... keep drinking the koolaid...you are doing a great job of overlooking the Obvious!
"DJB, pointed out correctly that the republican party was NOT attached to the congressman's name" -- no... DJB said he/she had to do a Google search to find out that Wicker was a Republican.. while at the same time accusing the media of being 'bigots'...... "you are doing a great job of overlooking the Obvious" -- I think what's 'obvious' is that you are the one drinking the koolaid, criticizing someone who stated an obvious fact, and doing so by twisting the meaning of DJB's post
