Terrell Sinkfield was one of the best receivers in the FCS this year. In the Wisconsin game, where UNI lost 26-21 on a last minute tipped pass, Sinkfield caught 6 passes for 67 yards. Against Iowa, in a 27-16 loss, Terrell caught 3 passes for 39 yards. No Gopher receiver, except for the departed A.J. Barker (8 for 130 against the Hawks and the Badgers) came close to Sinkfield's performance. Vikes: draft him, or, in the last two or three rounds, draft Brandon Kaufman of Eastern Washington. Over and out.

I heard Troy Williamson was fast. See how that worked out. All kidding aside, Sinkfield seems like a nice kid, and I wish him well.

he had the ESPN guys talking about this (weeks ago, when this story was new) but they were saying he should be timed by a trustworthy official. guy must be fast, and if he can catch, why not give him a practice squad tryout? in fact, if he can catch, maybe he can play CF for the twins. i'm sure his bat will find the ball more than 5% of the time.

Sorry, but if 4.19 is the target and makes a terrific football receiver, then we should be attending the Olympic trials and drafting the first two or three sprinters who did not make the team but are faster than anybody in the NFL. No, give me a player with decent speed and great desire, like the Chris Carter and Greg Jennings type.

He's quick, but hand times mean nothing (NFL needs to get with 21st century, not 19th)... FAT (electronic) times are the only accurate measure of a time (no human intervention at start and stop of watch/timer). P.S. world record holder in 100m would be under 4 seconds...

The rule of thumb for a "hand" time is to round it up to next .1 second and add .24 to make it equal to an electronic (FAT) time. so 4.19 hand "actually" equals (4.20 + .24) = 4.44 electronic... Thus, like I said, he would get "smoked" by the top 100m sprinters in the world... they would be around 4 flat electronic (FAT).... He's quick, but not Fast!

4.19 will get him a shot somewhere, I hope it works out for him. Good luck Kid!
