And so.... the last chapter on the greatest college hockey conference in the history of the game has been written. The book is closed....

So does this mean we can stop dismissing Quinnipiac as some b.s. ECAC team? (That happens to be loaded with Canadians who for some strange reason know how to play hockey) An all ECAC final??? Can somebody please pass the barf bucket?

Great season, Huskies! But now I can go back to cheering for MY Gophers again! Maybe both teams will be their respective conference champs and meet in the Frozen Four Finals next season!

Dimissing Quinnipiac? They have 11 Seniors and 13 Canadians! When was the last time you saw a Sioux or Gopher roster with 11 seniors? Many of their seniors were 25 yrs old and even one player at 26 yrs old. This wasn't some underated team playing in a cheezy conference. This was a legit, older, Canadian filled team. They know how to play!

ALL ECAC Final makes me sick too! Let's hope the NCAA addresses their regional locations for next years tournment so teams aren't playing in front of crowds of 1500 people.

Other than an early defensive lapse in the first period, I thought the Huskies actually played quite well. They poured on 33 shots against the top defensive team in the country and had many high quality scoring chances to make it a closer game. Hartzell played well too. So long to the real "WCHA." It was a great league for 60 years. 37 national titles is something no league is every going to catch up to.
