"Chrysler constantly tests its vehicles to find problems and fix them before customers have any trouble". Boy, they must have changed since the late 90's then. We had a truck with a cracked engine block that was a well-documented problem, but they wouldn't work with any owner on that, no matter if the trucks were under warranty or not. Haven't bought a Chrysler product since then either...
I have owned chrysler products for 30 years and my father has owned them for over 60 years and neither of us have had any issues... Usually a cracked block is the result of improper mix of h20 and antifreeze or a broken hose (could happen with any brand of vehicle)....
