All knives must now be registered, and those with blades over 1 1/2 inches and all 'assault knives' need to be banned immediately. Please help support 'knife control'. We must pass common sense, comprehensive knife control. If it only saves one life.....
Gun control and knife control is not enough. The final solution for the government is to remove everybody's opposable thumbs so we can no longer use tools of any kind to harm others.
At the very least we need backround checks on those who would purchase knives from knife shows or stores. There are over a billion knives in circulation in this country. do we really need more? Does anyonr really need a Swiss Army knife with several types of blades on it? There musy also be a limit on sharpening devices so only one knife at a time can be sharpened. I hope our briilant "president" will push congress to pass this legislation since 90% of Americans agree with him.
minn12, You are so right! IF this was a gun attack many more would have died and the left would be screaming for tougher regulations. It seems to me that the left is only interested in saving lives but could care less about injuries.
I wonder what the body count would be if they decided to use a gun instead of a knife?
"IF this was a gun attack many more would have died and the left would be screaming for tougher regulations. It seems to me that the left is only interested in saving lives but could care less about injuries." ------ Yes, because we all know someone being injured is just as tragic as someone dying... Bottom line is this: guns make it EASY to kill someone. A gun is specifically designed to kill - that is its purpose.
HURT, not KILLLED. I can imagine the headline would have been different if there had been guns involved.
"I wonder what the body count would be if they decided to use a gun instead of a knife?" - or an IED, as that seems to be the favored terror device in countries where firearms ownership is not as widespread as in america. Or we could just have more people defending themselves with firearms and the argument would be moot.
A violent attack, and yet, no one was killed. Oh, and coincidentally, the attacker didn't have a gun. What are the odds?
Well, there goes the whole arguement for banning guns. Guess what? Knives don't jam, you don't run out of ammo, you generally don't miss and in fact, stabbings generally are more deadly than shootings.
