So another A/P writer is out to destroy Mr. McConnell? Is that news? It is crystal clear that the left will do anything to ruin the Senator. And since when is it against the law to laugh? That is what is implied in the writing. We all laugh and it is just he style that the writer wrote it up. Does he never laugh either? There are many Democrats whom would love to have a one party country. All the power would go to them. The next election, with the terrible economy hanging around the neck of the Democrats, all of you may be suprised to see the Republicans will pick up many more seats in both the Senate and the House. Bugs trying to hurt other opponets? Is that right? Fair?
The defeat of Senator McConnell should be the # 1 goal of Democrats in teh 2014 election. Senator McConnell as Minority Leader has lead with a path to destruction with abusive use of the fillbuster. It is joke that the will of the people do not even get a "vote" up or down with the games that McConnell plays. When defeated maybe the minority Republican party will realize what folly Senator McConnell lead them on with the fillbuster games.
At least we know he and his staff are no better than the Dems he blames. We have heard the proof.
Having someone with as sour a demeanor as Mr McConnell represent you would cause any reasonable person to suffer deep bouts of depression or incredulity!
These things are supported totally by the right, just follow their actions for a while.
I'm sure Woodward & Bernstein are all over this one. (Yeah right.)
Assume that everything else was the same, except that McConnell was a Democrat. Even a slight suspicion that a bug had been planted in his office would have the MSM whipped up into a frenzy, with screaming front page headlines in the Strib, and legions of "investigative reporters" sleuthing out the Republican culprits.
Alas, however, McConnell is a Republican, so the story gets buried on page 4. McConnell (the evil Republican) is also the villain of the piece, which focuses on his "mocking" of poor Ashley Judd.
