Fill those seats and let's start deporting those criminal illegal aliens.

If Obama quit appointing judges based on ideology rather than qualifications he might have more success. Obama has a right to appoint whomever he wants and the house has the authority to block whomever they want. This is how our system was meant to be.

By the way, the SENATE votes on judicial appointments, not the house of reps. Or in this case, they refuse to do their job and vote.

The US Congress needs to create a new visa progam to import 600,000 foreign legal workers annually to fill this gap.

If the Fed Government would do its job and deport illegal aliens then there would not be such a backlog of cases.

maybe once the democrat controlled senate does it's job and lets the house bills come to the floor instead of dying in Harry Reid's desk things will change. Then again, maybe the senate can do it's job and propose a budget. It has only been 4 years since they proposed one. Talk about failing to do their job!

dork: "If the Fed Government would do its job and deport illegal aliens then there would not be such a backlog of cases." The Obama Administration has deported more illegals than the Bush Administration did. Why won't GOP Senators allow any votes on Obama's appointments??

"The Obama Administration has deported more illegals than the Bush Administration did"

That is a myth. Counting voluntary returns and those that are turned away at the border makes for good numbers but is disingenuous to say the least.
