Washington County tackles headaches from Lake Elmo Park Reserve growth

The popularity of Lake Elmo Park Reserve means big changes ahead, including more sheriff’s office deputies.

Sounds poorly managed. Served on 3 Rivers Park Board, system nationally recognized. Washington Co should either be affluent enough to fund and manage, or get out of the business. Lack of restrooms, apparently no system to reserve picnic sites, etc sounds like no one is in charge. Regional parks in past have been seen as similar to state parks in metro and qualifying for state $$$$ support. Washington should either step up and do it right or get out of park business.
