I might be in the minority opinion here, but the best cup of coffee is the one made at home!

Seems odd they would destroy that well crafted brand and ignore all that money spent to build it. I have no loyalty to Pete's.

I know it's dumb because it would be the same product being served, but for some reason I feel I'd be less likely to go to Peet's Coffee than Caribou Coffee.

If they all go to Peets I hope they keep Caribou's selection. I can't drink Starbucks or Dunn Bros.

Looks like some more people are headed to the unemployment line here in MN. If HQ moves that will be a blow to our employment numbers, not to mention the probable loss of stores too.

The attorney general should've investigated this out-of-state takeover! Our access to affordable coffee in the state of Minnesota has been compromised.

Like it or not, Caribou branding is a tough sell in major markets not in the hinter land. Peets is just a better brand name. It's a smart decision for future expansion into other major markets. Hopefully the corp headquarters stays here. The rest is just details.

My hope is that the branding in MN at least will remain Caribou. It is a local and recognizable brand with deep roots in the state and community. Nobody in Ohio know who Caribou is but they certainly do here.
