New Burnsville crosswalk signal more like a traffic light

New signal in Burnsville will put yellow and red lights directly in front of drivers to help pedestrians cross safely.

I hope this doesn't create more danger and confusion. Normally these are located mid-block, not at an intersection. I hope people on the cross streets don't see the traffic on Cty. Rd. 11 stopped and think they can go. I think there should be an actual light here personally. Then if I could convince the cops to actually enforce the 30MPH speed limit on the other road in front of the school, maybe we'd be making some progress. I watch day after day as car after car blows by my house on Evergreen Dr., supposedly an Echo Park "Safe Route" at 40+MPH. I have contacted the City several times, to no avail.
