They bring emotion and forget that no new gun laws will prevent this tragedy from reoccurring somewhere else. They think banning a weapon based on how it looks will help.
Democrats and liberals actually love tragedy. Rahm Emanuel admitted it - it gives them an opportunity to do something they normally couldn't get done. Very sad.
A year from now - check and see how much more blood is on your hands!
It is truly sad that these fine people have gone through so much, but it has nothing to do with responsible gun owners or their rights. The Sandy Hook killings were committed by a deranged individual who planned the attack months ahead of time and broke numerous laws including murder before he got to the school. He is dead now and there is nobody left to punish. For all of us, particularly the families of the victims, it's a difficult reality. It's time to let go.
It is the irresponsible firearms owners who have ruined the sport for everyone. Like it or not this is fact. It is your fellow firearms owner who is the problem. It is not the average citizen non-firearms owner trying to get a handle on the issue that is the problem. If you are a current firearms owner and you have mental health issues you should step forward. If you are seeking firearms purchases with mental health issues you should not be allowed to purchase. It is obvious by mathematical odds that the more firearms sold, the more irresponsible firearms buyers will allow theft, have unsecured firearms/ammo, allow improper sales or exchange of firearms. The truth hurts no matter which side you take it is still the truth.
