Can a park reboot your brain?

Need a quick cure for stress? Head for the nearest park. Even if you only can get close enough for a peek, your brain will thank you.

It would almost be fun to go out in the park to smoke a cigar but the political police will have you in handcuffs in an instant. Dogs on leash and no nudity. Boring.

We do have some nice parks. Others are just lame excuses of space devoid of much beyond a boring grass monoculture. And a few are heavy over-run with invasive plants such as buckthorn and garlic mustard. The reality is a little more nuanced than the simplistic statistic (assuming it's true) everyone (oh, wait, only in the city limits of Mpls--what percent of the TC is that again?) lives within 6 blocks of a park.
