New initiative time for Best Buy. But like everything they start, it's only a question of when they close it. Let's start a pool for the close date!

Oh, great! Another vendor's rep to harass customers when we walk in the door.

Don't count BBY out. As soon as they start to tax Amazon watch the stock go up. Samsung is a good move.

Management does need to tell the brave new blue shirts to back off a bit. They tend to "hover" over you to the point where you want to grab a broom. This aggressive training method will not help.

This seems to be a trend, JC Penny is expanding this concept as well. I didn't realize, that when you walk into a dept store and you see all those cosmetic counters....they are "owned" and operated by the cosmetic companies....not the dept store. Maybe Sears should try this, get rid of those crappy clothes they try to sell and sublet to someone better....oh, wait, they did that with Lands End.

Smart phone buyers? The epitome of mindless, cash rich, shallow consumers. Buy a useless toy phone and perhaps an useless $2000 flat panel tv. BB is the purveyor of throw away junk. Do they sell anything people really need? Or just want?

BB CEO: why don't you guys manage the instore electronics departments for Target or Walmart? I'm expect your own brick and mortar stores are very heavy on the expense side of the income statement. This is an excellent cobranding opportunity to participate in globally growing franchises. Good luck!

Oh my god. BB manage Walmart electronics? Now that is the most outlandish, sarcastic comment I have ever seen at this website. And people complain I am mean?

I drove up to the Northtown Best Buy looking for a 3D-TV only to find their 3D Samsung display didn't work and gave me a headache. One of the most common things I see at these stores is demo displays and items that have power cords and things but still don't work. Not going to waste my time waiting or coming back to see it I might like it. Why have a store if nothing works, might as well buy online at that point. Also those stores, not just Best Buy, that have items that are fakes you cannot test\evaluate\play with the item. Guess what, I don't buy from you either. Put a security cord on it if theft is a problem and get the batteries charged up if you are selling cameras or tools.
