If you want to reduce flooding try taking a few truckoads of sacrete and start plugging drainage ditches and drain tiles that prevent the water frmo seeping into the ground and instread drain it right into the Red River thus exaccerbating the flooding problem.
Yes, Let's use more Slave Labor-"when hundreds of junior high school students got out of school to help fill sandbags"...while fat cat multi-millionaire farmers refuse to co-operate with any diversion, they press minors into slave labor. America at its worst.
North Dakota is getting billions in tax money from the oil boom yet it has to rely on the Federal Govt. and Junior high school students to save them from flooding every year.What a bunch of sweethearts
