Sarah Stonich writes so elegantly; some of her sentences take my breath away. To anyone who has an issue with the titles of her books they simply don't know what they are talking about. These Granite Islands and especially The Ice Chorus-my favorite-are what writing fiction is all about. Excellent writing that strikes a chord, makes us pause and allows us to be transported. I agree with her comment about the NY Literary world; they have no desire to promote someone unless they are a name or an overnight sensation.
