I used to stop in at the Neimann Marcus store and would buy a few things every now and then. Invariably, however, the sales staff would act condescending and superior and so my shopping there became less and less frequent. It is interesting that so many stores that were "too good for most" are now le poof! Is that karma or what? LOL "The fall of the high and mighty is always fun to watch" according to some Democrats who used to hang around with the Rudy Perpich crowd in the Capitol. There is a marketing lesson there for entrepreneurs.

Never liked the store, way too ridiculously over-priced. I only ever stopped in to buy their end of season Christmas ornaments which were wonderful European hand-made glass for 3 to 5 bucks a piece. Other than that, not so much. Oh, and whenever I did go in the store, the only people in there besides me were the staff.
