Seriously, a 15-PAGE application for health insurance????? This is yet another example of how Americans have no idea what is about to hit them in the form of new regulations (a 15 page application form for health insurance) and rules (like having to pay back the subsidy if you accidentally misjudge how much you think you'll make in 2014.

So if your income goes up, your subsidy goes down. Sounds fair to me, now maybe they could apply this principle to corporate subsidies.

"There's another wrinkle: The vast majority of taxpayers won't actually receive the subsidies. Instead, the money will be paid directly to insurance companies and consumers will get the benefit in reduced premiums." - How exactly is that a wrinkle? That is how it should work. My company takes money from my check and pays it in premiums along with what they contribute to my insurance. I never see the money I never have to pay it to the insurance company. If they were just handing out the subsidies, what's the keep a person from saying that they have the insruance coverage and not really but pocketing the subsidy.
