Pekovic leads Wolves to 110-100 victory over Celtics

The center who missed the previous game because of an ankle injury led a romp past the Celtics.

The Celtics are old. The Wolves schooled the replacements. Garnett should hang it up. His whole act is tired. The Wolves would have won with Garnett on the court too.

Replay in the NBA should be easy to figure out. Just give the coaches 1 challenge per quarter, and if they lose the challenge, they will be charged with a timeout. In the last 2 minutes, leave it up to the booth. Obvious screw ups like the last second non call should be challengeable.

It was fun to watch this team. I'm glad Pek likes it here. I like him being a Timberwolf and I hope he stays! Now let's go get Coach Adelman his 1,000th win, plus a few more.

Budinger should be relatively inexpensive to sign next year considering how many shots he's made since returning. I suppose that should play in our favor ...

Rubio is 100 percent and just playing lights out, what a leader on the court and his basketball IQ is through the roof! I always felt the loss of Budinger was huge and it is showing that he really helps them on the floor since his return. Pek, well if he ever gets a 10 foot jumper, look out....he is a must sign. K-Love on the floor with this group along with AK-47, Cunningham, and you've got something. 2 first rounders in a deep draft will really allow some things, number one with five 7-footers they can acquire a solid post player to back up Pek, there are some nice SG that will drop into the mid-20's that could be real steals. Williams is still a "what to do" with player, can he play the 3 and defend? If he can do it well then you have a guy that could really be a huge help, or do they trade him for that type of player along with a Ridnour / Barrea combo? Salary cap room, first rounders, tradable commodities, and the fact that they made a great call in saving their Max deal for Rubio. I like the future.
