If convicted I have no problem with handing out the death penalty to a multi-murderer! Still think it's insane that the the mass murder guy from Norway is till alive.

Throughout the next 10-15 years this criminal gets the unlimited attention he was seeking with his evil acts in the first place. Appeal after appeal and millions of dollars will be spent while his face continually appears on front pages across the country. It would cost the same to accept his plea and put him away for life, without him getting any of the attention he craves. The victims' faces should be etched into his prison cell walls. And if he ever does grow a conscience and regrets what he did, he'd get the added punishment of having to live with some guilt. Killing him lets him off the hook too easily.

This is one of those instances where your rights to a fair trail should be exempt and they should just do away with this guy.

With that beard, maybe Holmes' fantasies have shifted from being the Joker to being Charlton Heston as Moses in The Ten Commandments.

There is no question about what happened, non at all. He is guilty, has admitted it and no longer deserves anything from our legal system, not one thing.

The Prosecutors must be Republicans. If they were Democrats, they would be asking the death penalty for the "evil" GUN, not the guy.

Why does his trial need to be pushed back for almost a year!? In the first place, there's no question he's the guy responsible and guilty, so why drag it out? Why should it take any longer just because the potential punishment is death vs. lifetime imprisonment (which will waste $40-50K on this waste of a life)? And no appeals unless there is significant evidence warranting. None of the limitless appeals crap!

Death is too good for this freak. Lock him in a hole and walk away.
