Not even Hitler would have dreamt of packaging Jews under glass.
Instead of basking in the guilt how about just putting them all on a train and shipping them to Israel?
Bravo for anything that promotes communication. Many Germans have great difficulty discussing the past, even if they were not alive before WWII. Similarly, we can all learn from how others view us. In the US, we are often afraid to ask why we have enemies.
Isn't the best way to understand other cultures is to let it occur naturally? Certainly not to make a spectacle of it, which this bizarre exercise seems to do. Also, references to "the chosen ones" is often miss-understood. It doesn't mean that Jews are "special" in the eyes of God; rather, it's that Jews have a "duty to praise the Master of all" - i.e. relates to a mission or purpose, such as preaching God's message. This does not exclude others from an equal calling to duty. In any case, some old guy probably just made it up, which is why it's so often miss-interpreted. To suggest that Jews are the only "chosen" ones of God is just chauvinism, or antisemitism upside down.
