well the dogs should not have been murdered and the child should have been supervised especially at that age there should be charges filed against them there are too many parents getting away with stuff that endangers their children
The dogs weren't 'murdered", the child was. When dogs decide to attack humans on their own, they should be killed.
The dogs killed the child and they shouldn't have been killed? Just another reason why no one should own pits, a worthless breed of dogs.
The dogs mauled and killed a child, they have the taste of blood, many breeds HAVE to be put down at that point. Yes I agree the parents should have charges, maybe negligent supervision, pressed on them. Why are you sleeping while your toddler is outside? This is sad and tragic for the family and while I never understand why parents leave their kids unsupervised, its a ery sensitive issue and sad
Pitts are not a worthless breed, its about the owner. People own pitts and train them how they expect them to be. Some of the sweetest dogs I have known have been pitts. However, if you cant train and handle them you shouldnt have them. and seven? Thats too many for one house period.
The biggest problem with Pit Bulls is Pit Bull owners. Too many want a tough dog and it is easy to get that with this breed. And those who don't want a tough dog may not be capable of training the dog not to be.
