The wolves MVP.

It is sort of amazing that Luke gets very little love from Wolves fans. He goes out every night and gets physically beat up by the bigger guys he's guarding, and doesn't complain about it. He plays hard every night on defense, which is what I like, despite not much success because he is so undersized. It is not his fault this team does not have a normal sized shooting guard. That would be the fault of Mr. Kahn. I have a lot of respect for Mr. Ridnour!

Wolves have normal sized shooting guards in Gelly and Shved. I think Adelmen likes to have 2 ball handlers on the floor hence the Rubio/Ridnour and Barea/Shved combos.

Hey Muddy - Gelly is a forward who is not quick enough to guard other shooting guards and Shved is a shooting guard in position only since he is shooting less than 37% from the field. A shooting guard also needs to be able to consistently make a jump shot so in my mind that eliminates Shved from the position.

Muddy...just wondering in your opinion does Adelman do anything wrong??

MuddyOasisMar. 26, 1312:20 PM

LJB - Show me in my post where I said that was a good or bad decision. It was just trying to figure out the logic behind starting Ridnour and Rubio. Do you see any other reason why he'd start both those guys other than wanting a couple ball handlers on the floor ? Yes Adelmen does things I think are wrong.

MuddyOasisMar. 26, 1312:23 PM

Abe - Depending on the matchup Gelly can easily play the 2 guard. He is normally slotted in the 3 spot because Adelmen generally likes 2 ball handling play makers on the floor. Fine Shved isn't a shooting guard. He's a 2 guard. Semantics.

He reminds me of John Randle, another guy the critics said was too short, too light.

fwallenMar. 26, 13 1:02 PM

Shved has room to grow.

Muddy...What in your opinion does Adelman do wrong.I encourage you to be specific. You always praise him but offer no critical feedback.
