What a surprise? Its Minnesota and North Dakota in the same Regional again. Lets hope this time they actually play each other

This is why the #2 seed is worse than the #1 seed. QU can waltz into the Frozen 4 cuz of the inferior teams they hae to play.

Only top regional seed with any chance at FF is Notre Dame. UM,Mass Lowell, and Quinnipiac will all lose in the regionals. Wisconsin and UND probable WCHA members in FF.

Men's hockey -- Take a clue from the women's team...

I realize that the FF Committee uses the Pairwise to select the 16 teams, but then it moves a few teams around in hopes of better attendence. I think its wrong that the WCHA has 6 of the 16 teams in the tourney yet not any in the East region. It's no easier to travel to Manchester, NH than it is Providence, RI.

More ferocity would be good. There's a first time for everything.

They seem to always leave one region free of any WCHA teams because of the time a few years back when the entire Frozen Four came from the WCHA. The East-coast folks need to rig the field so they have a chance.

PairWise ranking makes zero sense to me! How does CC move down 5 spots after beating #2 ranked MN? They moved down, not up! How is that even possible? So would CC been better off losing to MN? Of course, Quinnipiac doesn't have a WCHA team in their bracket. I was hoping they would have to face a WCHA team 1st game, so I can watch that over ranked team get blasted!

I hate to sound like a conspiracy theorist or accuse anyone of having an East-Coast bias, but look at what we've got here. No regional being played on WCHA turf? I know Alaska and the UP are impractical and North Dakota is out, but no Colorado, Minnesota, Wisconsin, or Nebraska? The West Regional (all four, actually) being played in a city in the Eastern Time Zone? Did the NCAA figure that no WCHA teams were going to get in when they picked the sites, or do our teams and fans not matter when travel is being figured out?
