Above, 2-year-old Tatum Itman joined in with the music of the Bazillions at Rock the Cradle, a family musical event sponsored by the Current and held at the Children’s Theatre and Minneapolis Institute of Art on Sunday. Along with musical demonstrations and a chance to try out instruments, there was dancing at the kids’ disco, at left, a room for building toys, a digital playground at the Playatta booth, the ABCs of vinyl with DJ Freddy Fresh, offerings from MacPhail Center for Music, and other free performances and activities for kids and their parents.
