FORT MYERS, FLA. – A strong wind toward left-center field had palm trees swaying. And home runs had some of them shaking.

Great news for young Hicks. Does he know anyone that can pitch?

Looks like our FAB 5 (collection of #5 starters) might win a few if that offense shows up

"Does he know anyone that can pitch?"...Hicks can (could) pitch..In HS at Long Beach Wilso, he had a 95mph fastball and an 85 mph slider...After beating him the first time his senior year, he blew us away in the second game...He was absolutely un-hittable and lost a no-hitter in the last inning when his SS couldn't catch an easy popup....Our hitters weren't even close and many of them were considering career changes during their hopeless at-bats...And we were a good hitting HS team.

He looks a lot like Colin Kaepernick. Hopefully he can play like him too.

The pitchers the Jays sent out to the mound today were an embarrassment to baseball..If a Twins fan puts any stock into todays offensive production you are truly fooling yourselves!!

"The pitchers the Jays sent out to the mound today were an embarrassment to baseball"...NO PITCHER who is in the MLB camp of maybe the best team in baseball is "an embarrassment to baseball".

Isn't it a given that there was a strong wind blowing out if Mauer is hitting a home run?
