As the Twins groom Miguel Sano in the finer points of being a third baseman, they have enlisted the help of someone who knows a bit about that role – Paul Molitor.

Smart move.... hopefully he engrains every piece of info that Molitor gives him and uses it.... the Twins need his bat for the future....

Great to see this coaching happening. But can Molly spend some time with Plouffy as well? It would be nice to have a good 3B for 2013 and 2014.

I am glad that the Twins are involving former great players such as Molitor. Now I wish we had Rod Carew helping at second base. Last wish would be to have Harmon Killebrew working with players at first base. Hope these former "great" players help get the Twins playing the right direction.

Repetition works if your a good athlete. Keep him there for a year and he should be okay. He needs constant supervision form PM, with that we finally have a 3rd baseman for 12 years plus.

Sano is not the Twins 3rd baseman, Plouffe is. The Twins do not have a major league ss and will trade Morneau for a super prospect major league ss or pitcher and Sano will be the Twins 1st basemen. 6-5, 250 lb. guys don't play 3rd base. Mauer is getting his way to play catcher and may not be traded. The Twins would need a lot in return to trade Willingham as Willingham is only being paid 7 million. Dozier is the 2nd basemen unless he does not hit well. Rosario is the best hitting 2nd basemen the Twins have.

"Sano is not the Twins thirdbaseman..Plouffe is"...unfortunately that is correct...Plouffey tied for most errors by AL thirdbaseman with Brett Lawrie..Lawrie had 100+ more chances than our boy Plouffey however..I realize Plouffey is a Gardy guy, but, maybe a little time spent with him would be time well spent. If he wouldn't have been hurt for part of the season hard to tell how many errors he could have racked up!!
