this could very well be the last "positive" article on the twins pitching for the year...

So, how is this bunch better than last year's group.. I think Worley will be OK, but Correia needs to declare a truce...wave the white flag....How much of his money is guaranteed? Is 5 mil a year his base salary? we might should hae just kept the kids in there. At least they were inexpensive. Spending 10 mil on Correia is as bad as giving Blackburn that 16 million, 4 year deal.

So a few bullpen arms responded to Anderson's challenge, but the starter did not. Great.

@milesmike: I think the starter may be incapable of responding to Andy's challenge. This is probably who he is as a pitcher.

Correia and Worley are gawd-awful. Why even pretend? They need to get these two clowns out of here ASAP.

terrible terry would have been better off ignoring the pitching rather than bringing in what he did. ryan makes bill smith look like a genius.

GREAT NEWS! Dave St Peter just said on WCCO radio that he does not believe all the negativity regarding the Twins Pitching. He said they are going to be okay and have more depth than people think. Thank you St Peter. I was really worried about our starting pitching but I am glad experts like you and Terry Ryan are telling fans that our pitching is going to be okay this year. WORLD SERIES BABY!!!!

Nobody blows smoke better than the Twins and their buddies in the media. Funny how Anderson and Gardy talk tough but they don't really mean it.

bluemaxMar. 24, 1310:28 AM

Seriously, with one week to go before opening day Anderson has to challenge his pitching staff even though the roster is unsettled? That doesn't say much about the competitive mindset of these pitchers.

That Rick Anderson...What a Leader!!
