Harmon Killebrew would be ashamed of these guys.

Golf great Arnold Palmer has said many times, if someone wants the make the effort to get my autograph, I want to be sure that they can remember who it was from years from now. Palmer, like Killebrew, has a signature that is as close to perfection as you can get.

Cool idea - I read the online sports page every day and this is a nice change of pace. Thanks guys!

Jim "Mudcat" Grant (who has a beautiful signature) was saying that Harmon Killebrew taught him the importance of presenting a practiced, well-written signature. It reflects who you are, a sign of respecting yourself, and giving respect to those who admire you enough to seek your signature. Not every fan is measuring the monetary worth of an autograph. Few could argue that just having a baseball signed by Joe DiMaggio elevates a room. Not every player can perfect a beautiful cursive autograph. The point is to realize what it means to someone on a deeper level and try beyond just scrawling some thoughtless letters across a piece of paper. Fans need the players and the player need the fans but-- the players who have a caring heart for their fans are the ones who will be remembered.

I am proud to say Harmon autographed a poster I had of him and you can immediately recognize his signature. I felt I was lucky to have guessed 8 correctly, very sloppy boys take pride like he did on how you sign your name..

9 and I'm shocked I did that well.

12/15. Only reason I did so well was because you could tell who the player was on a few through the glass. I'm very disappointed in these guys. Harmon is rolling in his grave. Mauer even mentions the importance of a good one. Except Joe, yours sucked too. Arnold Palmer and Harmon Killebrew have the cleanest, best signatures ever. Two old-school guys that make me very disappointed I'm growing up with these chumps who don't care about the fans.
