Thanks, Dre. Keep it up (refuse to lose) and you guys can surprise Florida. But we need to get more scoring down low from Trevor and Rodney. Get aggressive, Rodney. Time to be that Senior leader we need to complement Dre and Trevor.

Andre played great. He does have a decision to make. If he wants to play in the Association it will be as a point guard. If he wants to be a really good college player he can play a shooting guard. Either way, when he is on the Gopher wins.

Great article. Couldn't agree more with the above postings. DRE and Austin were great. The big boys need to finish their shots and make their free throws. take out the Hollins boys and the rest of the team was 1 for 8 on FT's. Zone defense looked good! I am happy for them!

Great game and great shooting! The gophers played better with RW on the bench. He played only 17 Min. Let's keep it that way.

He is like most players - they play best when they have fun and go hard and let the training of practice take over. For MN to be successful, he needs to ignore comments about "carrying the team" and "being the key to success" and other such drivel that suck the spirit out of you, and just play to enjoy the competition along with your teammates... After all, that is why the great ones play - not the money that comes and goes, nor the press that can turn on you in a minute, but for the competition with other people who feel the same way.

The jekyll/hyde nature of this time on display again! They can be a top ten team when they have their inside/out game going and keep turnovers reasonable. If they can get by Florida I like their chances to go a bit further given who is left in the region.

Andre was terrific, but part of what allowed him to be so effective was the fact that Austin was hitting shots from the perimeter early on. The defense couldn't afford to sag off him to help out on Andre when Andre took it off the dribble. When they're both hitting shots, they can be a very effective drive-and-kick combination.
