Twins' Worley still struggling as spring starts dwindle

The Twins righthander, one of the contenders to pitch Opening Day, has an ERA of 6.35 and has given up 14 earned runs in the past 18⅓ innings.

Wow swingingbunt - I hadn't considered that. To be honest, Deduno's work this spring has been better than anyone on the team. If he gets the ball you can't say he didn't earn it.

So this is Tr's idea of "being competitive?" Maybe against the Houston Astros. The congratulatory messages will soon be flooding the Twins Front Office from the Royals, White Sox, and Indians. They will all be grateful not to have to worry about finisghing in last place this year. The Twins appear to have that locked in right now. I'm not pleased with what I've seen and heard from the Twins this year.

Gardy seems optomistic he is going to be around for 162 games...I wouldn't be so sure. Although, the way the Twins do things, he probably has a lifetime contract!
