As much as lefties love to say that righties refuse to look at the big picture, this is a perfect example of lefties being guilty of this. I am 100% in favor of sustainable practices, but eventually Portland's 'progressive' practices are going to come back to bite them. People are moving to Portland because of the city's progressiveness, but eventually people will not want to live in a city that has 1 parking spot for every 15 cars, has more bike lanes than auto lanes, and does not like anything that involves cars.

Inconveniencing the 80+ percent to pander to the 5 percent. Totally Portland. Coming soon to a theatre near you.

80 new households on one corner, and NO PARKING??? Wha?!? I'm all for bike racks and bike lanes, but they're denying reality. People--even most cyclists--still drive, too. I hope Minneapolis never allows something that looney while cars are still as popular as they are.
