While I am somewhat disappointed not to have NoDak Whioux - Minnesota Gophers match-up, I'm still okay with the Gophers getting to play Colorado College. I've had great respect for that team and the way they play the game of hockey. Usually not a team that plays dirty, or does cheap shots, but would rather just outskate you. Definitely one of the teams I'll miss watching when the Gophers move to the Big 10 conference. (can it really be called Big 10 if there's only 6 teams??)

Great to see the Sue taken down by the underdog! GO GOPHERS!

Rather run into a HOT goalie now, than in the National Tournament. It's good to see someone else win this tournament. I was getting tired of winning this thing every year anyways.

Would have liked to see a Minnesota/ND clash but it is what it is. Saw T.Miller of the Grand Forks Herald claim ND would probably benefit from the rest. Hogwash, no team wants to get knocked off by the underdog in the first game of the tourney. Try telling the players that. They got beat by a hot goaltender, they panicked a little, gripped the stick a little tighter near the net and they know it. It took away a chance for a four peat and it never helps your confidence to get taken to OT and then beat by the underdog. Not a fun way to go out in the final year of the WCHA. What is a final 5 without a ND/MN game?

MN fans happy ND lost? No real game tonight? You're OK with that? Like abandoning decades of tradition and great rivalry fun? Goldy's new motto: IF YOU CAN'T BEAT 'EM, DON'T PLAY 'EM!

suechump: what a lame comeback, just take your loss like a man. and if you think the results will be any different in the big dance, you are fooling yourself. the sue are over rated and not that good this year. they may get lucky and win their first one but they won't make it to the frozen four.

Because North Dakota has been doing so well in the tournament as of late, Siouxchamp.

I'd like to take a moment to thank all of the North Dakota fans that donated their oil money to the St. Paul economy by purchasing 3 night hotels stays when their team is not even playing on Fri. or Sat.

NoDak's goaltending is absolutely terrible. They will go nowhere in the NCAA tourney.

The Sue are only a couple Canadians away from another championship.
